    Product description

    Description RNF bit:

The RNF bit is also called a Kimblehook or Butterfly Flip bit, named after the famous showjumper Butterfly Flip with Malin Baryard. Marlin rode Butterfly Flip with this bit. A RNF Bit is like a snaffle and a pelham in one. This bit is a bit softer than a pelham. The different ways to attach the reins makes it a bit that can be used for different horses. Only one rein is used and a curb chain or curb strap can be attached to the upper ring.

    Properties Single jointed mouthpiece:

Due to the breaking point of the single jointed mouthpiece the tongue will be more free than with a double jointed mouthpiece. A single jointed mouthpiece works mainly on the layers and the side of the tongue.

    Characteristics nozzle with locked:

A ridge with a blockage gives the rider the feeling of a basic bite at normal rein pressure, however, when the horse becomes strong or gives the rider rein pressure, this nozzle offers a blocking effect in 1 direction. It will work as a bar at that time. This bit is therefore not suitable for an inexperienced rider or horse.

    Sweet iron properties

By contact with (air) humidity oxidizes (blue color turns into brown price) the mouthpiece. The surface rust tastes sweet and stimulates the saliva production in a natural way. More stimulation of saliva production, better bit acceptance The orange-brown rust layer (after temporarily not using the bit) is easy to remove with a damp cloth.
